                             LastMode Variable

  DECLARATION:  VAR LastMode : Word;

      PURPOSE:  Saves current mode when TextMode is called

      DEFAULT:  Initilzed to the active mode at program startup.

      REMARKS:  When a program is executed, the current video mode
                is stored in LastMode.  Susequent calls to TextMode will
                cause the current mode value to be stored in LastMode.
